Gregory T. Avant, Cr. Photog., CPP, SP
With more than 25 years of professional photography experience, Gregory T. Avant has dedicated his career to capturing portraits, senior sessions, and sports imagery with artistry and precision. A long-standing member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, Greg has spent nearly 15 years serving the photography community both behind the lens and as an educator.
His commitment to excellence is reflected in his numerous achievements, including earning the Certified Professional Photographer designation in 2015, the Associate Fellow Photographer Degree in 2018, and the prestigious Photographic Craftsman Degree in 2024. Greg’s work has been recognized with multiple state and national awards, honoring both his technical skill and creative vision.
Beyond his own craft, Greg is passionate about sharing knowledge. For over 15 years, he has taught advanced photography at the Virginia Beach Photography Club, helping others grow in both technical mastery and artistic expression. Currently pursuing his Master’s Degree, Greg continues to push boundaries, always striving to elevate his work and inspire others through the power of photography.
